What is the Worship Service like?
— The music is contemporary with an occasional traditional hymn. The Praise Band has guitars, drums, piano, and flute to lead the music. Many Sundays (except in the summer) there is a choir anthem as part of the service. The preaching is Biblically based with practical applications to our daily living. During the music time some people may spontaneously clap or raise their hands in praise to God while others just sing the songs or meditate quietly. You can participate in any way that is comfortable to you personally.
What is there for my children?
— The children begin in the worship service with their families. At about 9:55 A.M. they will be invited to come forward for brief children’s message called the Visible Word. Following that time children from K – 6th Grade may then go together with teachers to Children’s Church in the South end of the building where they will be lovingly taught and cared for by our Children’s Ministry Team. Following the service families may pick them up in the South end of the building. An adult will be with your child at all times until they are given back to your care. Children that are 7th Grade and older remain in the worship service with their families. We do provide nursery care for infants and toddlers in rooms 110 and 111 in the South end of the building.
